What started as a project to create a relief mural for the external facade of some public toilets quickly grew into a full scale Market Square upgrade programme when it was realized that the relief panel cladding concept could be extended to other parts of the market perimeter. Extensive sections of ugly brick walls were clad with approximately 80 tons of bespoke sandstone relief panels depicting images and scenes associated with market life
